FISL 2004 - Fórum Internacional do Software Livre (Open Source International Fórum)In its fifth Edition, FISL will bring to Porto Alegre - Brazil at June, 2 to 5, open source enthusiasts to discuss open source scenario in Brazil and in the world. Some confirmed speakers are showed in http://www.softwarelivre.org/forum2004/speakers.php.
One of the most FISL parallel projects is the Women Open Source Meeting (or PSL- Mulheres). It will present cases and projects about women participation in open source and technology world, as well there will be presentations and debates about many subjects, mainly concerning women. KDE-women will be represented there, to present the project and talk about KDE.

Informatica Feminale
The Informatica Feminale is an annually held study for all women in the computer science. This years Informatica Feminale will take place from August 23rd to September 3rd 2004 at the University in Salzburg, Austria; from September 6th to 17th 2004 at the University of Bremen, Germany; and from September 19th to 24th 2004 at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
LinuxTag 2004
The LinuxTag is the largest European Linux event taking place every year. As last year it is again taking place in Karlsruhe, Germany, from June 23rd to 26th 2004. This year, the LinuxTag will take place for the 10th time and provides a wide range of information about Linux and Open Software through various talks.
Cebit 2004
The Cebit is the worlds' largest IT event taking place in Hannover, Germany, from March 18th to 24th 2004. Like in the last years, KDE will also be present there, this time at the Linup Front stand.
Chemnitzer Linux-Tag 2004
This years Chemnitzer Linux-Tag takes place on March 6th and 7th 2004. Like last year, a KDE team participates there. There will also be a talk by Daniel Molkentin about KDE - Der unternehmensreife Desktop.
GNU/Linux Informationstage 2004
The GNU/Linux Informationstage, organized by the LUG Wilhelmshaven, is this year held for the second time on March 6th and 7th 2004 in Wilhelmshaven. Here, many different projects, including KDE, are presented, also by talks. There is also a live transfer of the Chemnitzer Linux-Tag.
Fosdem 2004
The Fosdem is an annually held two-day event by developers for developers. This year, it took place on February 21st and 22nd 2004 in Brussel. There was a KDE developers' room in which you could listen to talks like the Getting into KDE programming, essential technologies talk by Adriaan de Groot and the one about Kturtle by Cies Breijs.
Informatica Feminale
The Informatica Feminale is a study of and for women in Computer Science that takes place in the summer. All of the lecturers and atendees are female. The event takes place from August, 25th to September, 5th 2003 in Bremen and from September, 14th until September, 20th 2003 in Furtwangen, Germany.
KDE Contributor Conference 2003 - "Kastle"
The KDE Contributor Conference is a gathering of KDE contributors from all over the world. Developers, writers, translators, administrators -- anyone who contributes to KDE or uses KDE on a large-scale and has feedback for contributors -- are all invited to learn from others and share what they have learned. - That includes women and we hope to meet you there too :)
5.Chemnitzer Linux-Tag - 5th Chemnitz Linux Day
Only a little team from KDE participated at the Chemnitz Linux Day, but they could listen to women from other projects, who gave some talks. Some pictures can be seen here.
Linuxtag 2003
As always, the KDE Team participated in this year's LinuxTag which took place in Karlsruhe, Germany. There were some women involved in presenting KDE to the visitors too.
